Introducing the updated design in our SlimFlex range of Enhanced Carbon Chassis', the XRAY T4'21. The original design has now been used and developed for over 12months by our team drivers on the XRAY T4'20. We, and many drivers around the world feel we successfully produced a chassis that improves on the original chassis, especially in low-med traction conditions - which is 90% of most asphalt racing.
We have narrowed the chassis all round to provide less scrubbing in corners, leading to increased corner speed. This increases flex substantially, so to counteract this, we have recessed the diff and spool cutouts instead of cutting them all the way through. Not only does this bring the chassis back up to our desired amount of flex, it also improves aerodynamic performance by not preventing air from under the chassis being forced up into the car, detrimental to handling.
Now screwing weight to your car is even easier thanks to ouradded front and rear weight holes, these can be used to screw our "Weight Shift" Front and Rear weightsto the chassis, giving you a place to add weight, whilst also being adjustable left/right. You can check these ourHERE
All of these features combined bring you a chassis which is easier to drive, with more traction and faster lap times, as experienced by both our Stock and Modified drivers.
Our chassis are precision cut and countersunk on our CNC machine, in house in Australia from high quality 3K 2.2mm carbon.
