The idea: We've long wanted to develop a tool that makes filling and bleeding Awesomatix shocks easier and more reliable. Now it's here!
The challenge: The new damper is technically a real improvement over the old MMX damper, but filling it cleanly without air bubbles has often been a test of patience.
Our solution: We raise the damper on the cover side so that the screws are completely surrounded by oil – and where there is oil, air has no chance.
What the tool can do: Completely refill the damper after opening the lid or simply bleed it if air has crept in
Another tip: Don't skimp on the oil! If you don't fill the cap sufficiently, the damper might suck in air on the rebound side—which would reverse the effect.
