We are excited to introduce ourCentraFlex2.0mm Topdeck for the XRAY X4!
We are delighted to be the pioneers of the single sided topdeck design, which provides a brilliant range of flex options and characteristics. Conventionally, in Mid Motor setups, the front of the topdeck is entirely split, however XRAY have followed our lead with the single sided design on the X4, proving that they too, could see what it had to offer.
The CentraFlex has been developed to slide in from the side under the belts, and due to the single sided design, can be joined in front of the spur gear to prevent excessive front topdeck and bulkhead flex, bringing back the balance of front to rear flex provided by the topdeck. We have increased the clearance to Pinion Gear over the standard X4 Topdeck, making you now able to run any combination you can think of! This design also makes it very easy to change the spur gear.
By installing or removing the Topdeck Motormount Screws either side of the spur gear, we can change the flex point of the car instantly, either moving it forwards or backwards to adjust the balance of the car.
As well as this tuning option, we also have braces which can be cut on the topdeck to even further alter the flex characteristics, by changing the flex between the bulkheads, and also moving the flex closer to the bulkheads. The rear of our CentraFlex features a unique flex link which provides a dampened flex movement of the rear bulkheads which gives more rotation to the car.
This provides a lot of option in not only adjusting the flex point of the car, but also the overall flex. Combined with the options provided under the chassis by the motor-mount, it can be a very powerful tuning option in getting the absolute most out of your car.
All these flex options make it very adaptable to all different kinds of tracks, with the inserting and removal of screws, using the bearing, and also cutting braces making substantial differences in the feeling and balance of the car.

Available in both 1.6mm and 2mm versions. We suggest 1.6mm for use with Aluminium Chassis or Carbon Chassis for very low grip, and 2mm with Carbon Chassis in Normal traction conditions.
