With this 90-degree countersink, you can easily countersink holes in various components. Especially with the advent of 1.2mm thin steel chassis in the 1:10 on-road sector, it has sometimes become necessary to countersink holes in other aluminum parts (e.g., bulkheads, motor mounts, etc.) so that the screws fit better and can be tightened more securely from below.
