MXLR Front Body Support - Body Support Tamiya TRF421

Max Mächler is behind MXLR - an internationally successful RC racer.
High-quality and exclusive products - engineered in Germany.
Each product has been carefully and carefully selected and developed.
No blunt relabeling - just quality like Max himself uses in his everyday racing on the race tracks of the world!

With the trend of feather-light bodies and ever-increasing top speeds, body deformation is becoming a real problem for serious racers.
The solution is the MXLR Front Body Support System.
=> prevents body deformation at high speeds
=> reduces the risk of torn front wheel arches due to deformation

The body support is made of PA12 nylon - a material that is optimally equipped to withstand tension, abrasion and force.
When designing it, we paid particular attention to the structural properties of the TRF421 at this point. The car must be able to move at this point - the strut must not stiffen it.
Our design is chosen so that it has the least possible influence on the flex.

Installation Tips:
#1 - Use an additional M3 lens head screw (not included) to finely adjust the height.
#2 - Screw the M3 screw into the top hole of the support. This will be difficult the first time as the screw forms its own thread. You should screw the screw in BEFORE you mount the part in the car.
#3 - The support can be used with or without the original carbon strut. If it is placed on the original carbon strut, two additional longer screws are required in this place. These screws are not included in the set.
#4 - Adjust the support to the correct height. The screw should touch the hood - with no additional play - once the body is resting on its mounts.
