Behind MXLR is Max Mächler – an internationally successful RC racer.
High-quality and exclusive products – engineered in Germany.
Every product has been carefully selected and developed.
No simple rebranding – but quality just like Max uses in his everyday racing on racetracks around the world!
With the trend towards feather-light bodies and ever-increasing top speeds, body deformation is becoming a real problem for serious racers.
The solution is the MXLR Front Body Support System.
=> prevents body deformation at high speeds
=> reduces the risk of cracked front wheel arches due to deformation
The body support is made of PA12 nylon – a material that offers optimal resistance to stress, abrasion, and impact forces.
During the design process, we paid particular attention to the structural properties of the A800R / A800RR at this point. The car must be able to move freely at this location – the brace must not stiffen it.
Our design is chosen to minimize the impact on flex.
Now NEW: With additional laser engraving!
Installation Tips:
#1 - Depending on the height of the body shell, choose the M4 set screws with a length of 6mm or 8mm.
#2 - Screw the M4 set screw into the upper hole of the support. This will be stiff the first time as the screw self-tightens its thread. You should screw it in BEFORE you mount the part in the car.
#3 - Remove the two screws that connect the A800R's bumper plate to the bulkheads and place the support in its place. SB3x8 or SB3x10 screws (instead of the original SB3x6 screws) should be used. These screws are not included in the kit.
#4 - Adjust the support to the correct height. The set screw should touch the hood – without any additional play – as soon as the body shell rests on its mounts.
